ta-dah...

Mormor brought home a can of pumpkin pie filling tonight. I was starting to sweat, since we're going to introduce Thanksgiving dinner here for the first time this year and I had turned down two previous offers to have it sent from the States. Turns out there is an English grocery store near downtown Stockholm that I just learned of last week. The price for such a can: $10+ USD. Return for tradition: priceless.

Minus the $10 we owe mormor. :-)

Hey, it is only $5 USD per pound to ship...I can send you cans from the states at a bargain price of maybe $7.

PS,
The Libby recipe on the can is the one I use but I go heavy on the spices.
Yum.

I think the 'Gulp!' is my friend Kurt from Chicago. Let's just say Kurt probably wouldn't pay $10 for a can of tradition, even if he lived in Siberia. Or at least he'd like you to think so.

We're going to use the Libby recipe this year. Mormor picked up the carnation milk too. Good thing she's a recipe reader.
