Grace had her first soccer game and practice today. She is on the Nativity Green team. There are four teams total with about 8-10 kids on each team. For an hour, Grace ran and laughed and had a great time. I don't think anyone scored and nobody cared.
Sara was the extra ball keeper.

Way to go Grace. Too bad there's no grass to play on.
I was going to say that grass looks pretty dry. I wish we could send some of our rain and cool weather.
ps. You can tell the non-soccer families from the soccer families: chin guards go inside the sock.
I was on an indoor soccer team in Iowa with guys who had not played before. When we showed up for our first match some of the guys had their guards on the outside, including myself. The other team ate us up like sharks and minnows. Pretty funny thinking about it.
